The Rise of Service Robots in Alaska and Hawaii

In our mission to elevate the hospitality industry, we’ve set our sights on deploying a Servi in every state across the U.S. Therefore, we’re super excited to announce we just broke new ground with Servi robots in both Alaska and Hawaii.

Automating Alaska 

Through our partnership with NANA Management Services (a subsidiary of Sodexo), we were able to introduce Alaska to hospitality automation as Servi became the state’s first-ever service robot. In all, Servi made landfall across four senior living communities including Anchorage Pioneer Home, Ketchikan Pioneer Home, Marlow Manor, and Fairbanks Pioneer Home.

Servi is an excellent addition to senior living communities as it allows both residents and staff to build better connections through more meaningful mealtimes. Since Servi is able to handle all the back and forth of bussing dishes and running food, staff are freed to lend more attention to their residents.

Aside from elevating senior living communities, Servi is also now in attendance at Alaska Pacific University. While schooling students and faculty alike on superior service, Servi will be eliminating repetitive work for staff by bussing tables in the dining hall.

Enhancing Hawaiian Hospitality

As one of the very first service robots in Hawaii and the first ever Bear Robotics tech in Honolulu, Servi is now an integral part of service at Kalakaua Gardens, one of the island’s premier senior living communities.

Kalakaua Gardens just deployed two Servi robots to help with food service operations. Like many senior living communities around the country, Kalakaua Gardens has felt the sting of staffing shortages. By implementing automation, their team members are able to easily connect with residents to provide elevated dining experiences.
