Bear Robotics Showcases Innovative AMR Lineup at Automate 2026
Live demonstrations at Booth #3488 highlight Bear's expanding vision for intelligent, autonomous material handling
Bear Robotics, a leader in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and AI-driven automation, today announced its participation in Automate 2026, North America's largest robotics and automation trade show, running June 22–25 at McCormick Place in Chicago. At Booth #3488, Bear Robotics will showcase its full Carti AMR lineup — the compact Carti 100 and high-payload Carti Low-Profile series — through live demonstrations designed to show how Bear's autonomous platforms are solving real operational challenges across manufacturing, logistics, and commercial environments today.
Carti 100: Precision Automation, Built to Build On
The Carti 100 is Bear Robotics' compact, nimble AMR for environments where maneuverability and uptime can't be compromised. Built for light-to-mid payload transport across a wide range of settings, it offers configurable tray or conveyor shelf options and uses advanced sensor fusion and real-time obstacle avoidance for smooth, uninterrupted operation. Built-in fleet management coordinates multi-robot deployments from day one.
Just as important, the Carti 100 is designed as an integrator-first platform. Its reliable autonomous base, robust APIs, and open software interfaces give integration partners everything they need to develop and deploy custom solutions fast — whether that's a specialized payload attachment, a domain-specific workflow application, or a fully bespoke automation system. Rather than building from scratch, partners innovate on a proven, field-tested mobility stack that shortens time-to-market, reduces development risk, and amplifies the value they deliver to end customers.
Carti Low-Profile: The High-Payload Workhorse
The Carti Low-Profile series extends Bear Robotics' AMR capabilities into the heavy-duty tier, with payload capacity ranging from 400 kg to 1,500 kg. Purpose-built for manufacturing floors, distribution centers, and large-scale commercial operations, it delivers high-throughput autonomous transport with minimal infrastructure investment and is engineered to sustain multi-shift, around-the-clock duty. Where conventional material handling reaches its limits, the Carti Low-Profile takes over.
Also on the Floor: A Look at What's Next
Booth #3488 will also feature a live demonstration of the Kinisi KR1, a humanoid robot making its appearance at Automate 2026. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the KR1 in action and get an early look at how humanoid robotics may extend into the kinds of environments where Bear already operates.
"Automate 2026 is the right stage to show the industry what autonomous robotics can do today — and where it's headed," said John Ha, Co-Founder and CEO of Bear Robotics. "Our Carti series is solving the operational problems our customers face right now. We're proud of what we've built and excited for people to see it in action."
